Carol then joined Leighton Contractors (now CPB) in 2005 and moved into the building division of the company. She spent the next 13 years at CPB, prior to joining the team here at Suttons. Below are the principles that Carol says has been important in maintaining a long career in the construction industry.
Safety is everyone’s responsibility - Be safe and go home to your family every day
Do the job right the first time – Learn from previous mistakes & don’t repeat them
Create long lasting relationships with all stakeholders, clients, subcontractors and staff. – Maintain your integrity
Develop systems and procedures – Only use systems and procedures if they work and are successful
Be flexible – Be willing to think outside the box
